Katak-Rotti and Shenga Chutney

I have brought Katak-Rotti and Shenga Chutney from Nalapaka.

I like Shenga Chutney  very much since my college days as Mahesh used to bring it from his home.

 

Nalapaka is Awesome as always

 

I like Paddu and Set Dosa in Nalapaka. It is one of the rare hotels in Bangalore which serve Avalakki (Atakulu Upma).

Davanagere butter Dosa is served with coconut chutney and aloo curry.

I  went to Nalapaka yesterday with Lachchi. We ate Set Dosa and Butter Dosa.

 

We went there at 1600 for lunch. But it was closed. Then we went to Kadamba. Kadamba is also a nice place to eat.

Biryani at Brindavana Garders

Last night I have tasted Veg Biryani at Brindavan Gardens. Do not get confused... Brindavan Gardens is a restaurant near Chikkaballapura.

When I ordered for Biryani, I thought it will be of bad taste(like Hyderabadi Veg Biryani). But it was very tasty...

 

On Saturday, I thought of going to Bangalore. I started from my house at 1630 and reached Kacheguda station at 1800. Since I had no reservation, I took a general ticket and went to platform no. 3

 

There are only 4 general compartments out of which 2 is reserved for women. The remaining two were overcrowded. One of them had no lights. I cancelled my tickets and went to MGBS. I get into a bus at 1915 and it reached Bangalore at 0530. In the evening I get into a bus at 2100 and reached MGBS at 0800. I reached office at 0845.

Back to normalcy

My hair style is now normal.

I was keeping long hairs since one year. Finally I have decided to cut my hair due to the hair loss while combing. I am almost bald from back side. The only consolation is that few hairs are still left in the front side!

Shimoga Friends

Just in four days of my visit to Bangalore on Nov 5th, nearly 12 friends of Shimoga hostel came together by mobile and emails.

Chiru

I saw Chiranjeevi for the first time at 9.30 pm. He was in white dress and looking very nice. His was on a road show in Kukatpalli.

ಮುದ್ದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು

ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮಮ್ಮ ಮುದ್ದೆ ಮಾಡೋದನ್ನ ನೋಡಿದೆ.. ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿ ನೋಡಬೇಕು...

Head Ache

After many years, I got head ache. Hence proved that my head is still working!

It’s very much disturbing to see Shammi crying….

The only one serial that I like to watch is “Muktha Muktha” on ETV Kannada.
Of course the main attraction is Seetharam’s court proceedings.

But since few months there are no court scenes. I am bored to watch the ‘Over’ emotional scenes in which Shambhavi, Kalyani try to fill buckets with their tears. Added to this, Seetha aththe and Bhargavi ajji also crying for Arundhathi’s death.

I condemn Seetharam for killing Miss India Arundhathi... that too in floods.

Yes, the time has come to cut my hair.

Long back, I was reading Mahatma Gandhi’s autobiography. He says, it was his cowardliness that he decided to remove his ‘Shikha’ while going to London for higher studies… By the time he realize this, he became bald!

After reading his book, I thought of keeping “Shikha”. For that I have not cut my hairs since 1 year.

Today I have lost lot (rather most) of hairs on my head. Before becoming ‘Bank Janardhan’ so early, I think it’s better to cut my hairs.

I have little satisfaction that I kept ‘Shikha’ for some time.

My dad will be very happy with my old (normal) hair style!

ದಿಲೀಪ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ

ನಾನು ದಿಲೀಪನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತುಂಬಾ ವರ್ಷಗಳೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದವು. ನಾನು, ಜೀಪಿ, ಐಪಿ, ಮಧು, ದಿಲೀಪ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಲಾಲ್-ಬಾಗ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೆವು. ಅದಾದ ನಂತರ ದಿಲೀಪನನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಐಪಿ ಮದುವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹಳೆಯ ಮಿತ್ರ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ. ನಾನು ಪ್ರಶಾಂತನ ಮದುವೆಗೆ ಬಂದೇ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂತ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅವನು ಬಂದು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂದು ಹೋದ. ಅವತ್ತು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದು, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಗುರು ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದೆ. ಗುರು ಮಗನನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಆಗಿತ್ತು...
