Was that necessary?

Earlier, Muslim women were not allowed to go out of their house. But the scenario has changed slowly. Today, Muslim women are pursuing higher studies and are working in many jobs which were once dominated by males. This evolution has happened without throwing out Burqa. The struggle for existence has changed the mindset of people world wide with the unforeseen challenges of increased population. But still they is lot of regressive forces which equally keep pulling the rope backwards.

One such force of course comes from the "highly educated" section of our society, i.e,. writers and thinkers. They think too much and think only to their level.

Even today, they are not ready to accept the gradual, steady, slow changes that has happened in our society, whether it is education of a girl child or the issue of untouchables. They simply keep on fishing in the disturbed waters. They should encourage and inspire the people. If they can't do that, at least they should keep quite by not raising the dead issues like Burqua... I have no hopes that they do.
