ಅಡುಗೆ ಅಡಿಗಡಿಗೆ... Cookery at every step

bisibELe baat in 15 minutes (For two):

Put 1 cup of toor dal, chopped beans (10-12), Carrot (2-3), Potatoes (2-3) and Tomatoes (2-3) and ½ cup of rice into the cooker. Add a little tamarind, 2 spoon of MTR Bisibelebath powder and 1 spoon of salt. Add 7-8 cups of water and cook for 6-7 whistles.

Heat a little quantity of oil in a pan in low flame. When it heats, add small quantity of mustard seeds (Sasive/ sarso / Kodagu / aavalu), cumin seeds (Jeerige/Jeera/ Seerakam /jeelakarra), asafetida (ingu/hing/ perungaayam /inguva) and Curry Leaves (Karibevu/ Kari patta/ Karuveppilai/ kariveypaku).

Mix it with the cooked rice and Bisibelebath is ready!

Serve the Bisibelebath when it is not so hot! Because when the Bisibelebath is hot, one can’t make out the real taste!
